Miguel Caamaño

VFX Supervisor

With first steps on the media industry taken place in one of the mayor TV channels in Spain, back in 2005,  soon relocated to the United Kingdom.

​

Founding his footing at Onsights Soho facilities, found himself propelled into the pivotal roles of S3D expert,  Compositing and DI artist.

​

His acquired expertise as a leading artist, VFX and workflow developer was also rewarded with the inclusion in award-winning projects; such The Baftas for Innovation for Atlantic series of documentaries; that solidified his projection in the industry. He became the linchpin in establishing Onsight's reliable reputation of next to perfect delivery on a wide range of products, from advertising to Feature films and IMAX remastered movies.

However, didn't take long to transition to industry giants like MPC and DNEG. The unique chance given to contribute on Oscar-winning titles; Jungle Book, Lion King i.e.; reassured his commitment to the field and became a global nomad, entrusted with leading teams across diverse, high-profile projects, a testament to his skill set and leadership.

Eventually returned to his homeland, Spain. Now, as a supervisor and VFX developer in world class productions for platforms of the like of Netflix, HBO, Paramount, etc...

Gabriel Lopez

VFX Supervisor

Starting back in 2008 with a 3D Generalist background, Gabriel Lopez moved to London in 2009 persuing his passion for visual effects where he attended Escape Studios. 

After starting at Prime Focus (London) working as a stereo compositor for films like ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt.1 & 2’ (2010/2011), ‘Frankenweenie’ (2012) or ‘Gravity’ (2013), he then moved onto 2D compositing on projects like ‘The Jungle Book’ (2016), ‘Doctor Strange’ (2016), ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2’ (2016) along some awarded tv shows like ‘The Crown’ (2016).

Since then, he had the privilege to travel and work in different places like India, Australia, Canada and Singapore participating in great shows like ‘Game of Thrones’ (2017), ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ (2017), ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ (2019) or ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ (2019).
 

Based in Madrid (Spain) since 2020, he worked as a Lead Compositor on ‘30 Coins’ (2020-2021) and then as a 2D Supervisor in charge of all 2D related work as well as helping to build the comp pipeline for Alberto Mielgo's Emmy award winning episode of ‘Love, Death & Robots: Jibaro’ (2022).

Gabriel's latest contributions include  ‘House of the Dragon’ (2022),  ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ (2023) ‘Loki, Season 2’ (2023) and ‘The Marvels’ (2023)

Jose de la Puente

Production Advisor

With over 15+ years of experience in the visual effects industry and now based in Vancouver (Canada), Jose de la Puente's latest collaborations include companies like Netflix and NBC. Prior to this he was working for DNEG as a VFX Producer, where he worked on projects like ‘Dune’ (2021) or Sony Pictures’ ‘Venom’ (2018). Jose was also Production Manager on Marvel’s highly acclaimed ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ (2017).

With a background in feature animation, Jose’s credits include CG animation productions ‘Planet 51’ (2009) and ‘Underdogs’ (2013), as well as hand-drawn animation projects such as Netflix’s first feature film, the Oscar Nominated ‘Klaus’ (2020).

Jose made his leap into the VFX industry when he moved to London to work on the Academy Award-winning and critically acclaimed ‘The Jungle Book’ (2016). His outstanding work on ‘The Jungle Book’ secured him a promotion to Production Manager in 2015. Since then, Jose has worked on big titles such as 2017’s ‘King Arthur: The Knights of the Round Table’, ‘Assassin’s Creed’ and ‘Justice League’, and 2016’s ‘The Legend of Tarzan’, among others.

He has also taught at the Spanish ‘University for Technology and Digital Art’ (U-TAD) as a ‘Production’ professor. Jose also has a passion for writing and directing, and, in 2012, his short film ‘My Struggle’ was shortlisted for The Academy’s ‘Best International Short Film (Live Action)’ Award.
